Most people don’t actually realise that bees are vomiting for a reason. I am not being sarcastic when I say ‘vomit’ – honey is a regurgitation – number one you should not be eating someone else’s vomit – if I brought you a plate of food and sneezed on it first – no kidding you would freak out. I have seen people freak out at restaurants because there is a piece of hair on their food but then they go ahead and pour copious amounts of vomit on their toast, their cereal, on their fruit and in their tea and cofee etc. – go figure, it’s vomit – it’s not our food?
The drone bees will only vomit if the queen bee is present in the apiary. Apiaries are open, not enclosed like factory farms – where animals are imprisoned – So how do you make sure the queen bee always comes back and stays there? – If you ask me, this is one of the sickest things I have ever heard of. On an apiary farm – they actually rip her wings off.
They rip the queen bees wings off to make sure that she stays at the apiary so that the drone bees continue to vomit – that is the equivalent of dismembering someone’s limbs so that they cannot walk. Cutting off someone’s legs is unacceptable , taking away somebodies motor transportation is evil – this is standard practice which most people don’t know about. You can go online and check out the queen bee supply company – where you can actually order queen bees who are sent to you in a little box – as soon as bee keepers get the box, they open it up and rip her wings off.
Bee keepers also kill off queen bees around three years of age – even although queen bees live naturally to the age or five or six. Just like cows are killed at the age of three to seven years of age, cows could live to eighteen to twenty five years of age – so all of these animals are murdered way before their life spans are over.
So this is the issue that’s going on with the ‘honey’ issue – we’re stealing from them and harming the bees. Just so you know they vomit for two reasons; 1: insulation for their hive. 2: It’s food for themselves – for their young especially, and a supply for the winter and the cold season.
Animal abusers will spin you the story that historically bee keepers only take 50% of the bees honey – now stealing a little by the way doesn’t make it moral. Let it be known that today in modern times bee keepers steal 100% of bees honey and replace it with corn sugar syrup. Well if you’ve been following bee activity for the last five to ten years – you obviously know that bees are dying off right? – bees are disappearing. What’s happened to the bees!!!? Well there are a few things that we can look at – pollution, and when the bees start to go – we’re not far behind. How about genetic modification – but reading that bee keepers are feeding bees high fructose corn syrup? !!!!!! – and we are wondering why bees are dying off! Look at what fructose corn syrup does to us – what do you think it does to them!
This is such an unnatural ‘product’. I don’t believe that just because something is unnatural – that it makes it wrong, evil or bad – but lets be clear – you would never be walking around in the woods and stick your hand into a beehive – this does not belong in our diet.
If you’re looking for a similar taste and texture of honey – go for agave nectar (found in most health and grocery stores), yacone, there is also a rice honey, as well as coconut nectar. So keep in mind that you don’t have to give up anything when you go vegan – you can simply veganize it all!
Keep it cool, keep it clean – and think of ‘them’ before yourself – stay a happy vegan!
